History of OSHA.

  • Before 1970 there was no any national laws for Safety & Health hazards for them who were working in different organization or industry under an employer.  
  • Record says on average 15 workers die every day, over 5,600 annually and over 4 million non fatal incident reported.
  • To minimize the loss of human life and their health OSHA came in presence. 
  • When OSHA Established (Started)?
  • On Dec 29, 1970, President of U.S.A Nixon signed the OSH Act.
  • The act formed the agency called OSHA which formally came in presence on April 28, 1971.
