Job Description:
As a Safety Engineer at L&T Construction, you will be responsible for overseeing EHS services and ensuring the implementation of EHS policies at the project site. Your role will involve conducting risk assessments, developing project-specific guidelines, and delivering site-specific training for staff, subcontractors, and visitors.
Your primary duties will include:
- Overseeing the overall EHS organization to ensure the smooth implementation of safety protocols and achieving benchmark performance.
- Implementing the Integrated Management System for EHS across the project site.
- Developing and facilitating the implementation of project-specific guidelines and procedures.
- Preparing project-specific risk assessments and conducting training for all site personnel.
- Monitoring EHS performance, both proactive and reactive, and taking corrective actions as needed.
- Ensuring the emergency preparedness and response procedures are in place for the project site.
Education & Qualifications:
- B.Tech/B.E. in any specialization
- NEBOSH Certification (essential)
