• Develop policies & procedures that minimize risk & maximize safety.
• Collaborate with top management to ensure company-wide compliance with health & safety standards.
• Perform safety audits & inspections.
• Set out employee safety training programs for implementation in the organization
• Investigate accident scenarios for root cause analysis and corrective actions taken

Safety Officer Responsibilities:

 

• Provide recommendations on reducing dangerous conditions in the workplace.
• Give guidance to management on legal requirements for workplace security.
