What is Card Board Blasting?

Card Board Blasting is a pre commissioning activity, card board blasting is a method to flush out (clean/remove) all unwanted material (used welding electrodes, dust, rust metal) from pipe lines through sudden relase of air pressure.

Card Board Blasting Procedures: -

1. Check the all welding joints/lines first.

2. Creat the air pressure at 10 bar by using air compressor. (Air pressure also depends on thickness of card Board)

3. Blow air in pipeline to remove all dust.

4. Now fix the card board of thickness 3 MM at the end of pipe outlet with flange and nuts/bolts.

5. Now pressurise air by compressor in pipeline until card board blast.
